EDITING 35MM PHOTOS

I've never have actually edited my film photos before. I don't know why...I've always liked the way they looked.
However, yesterday at uni I've had an amazing lesson about technical skills in photography.
Well, it's called like this but it's something totally different. There's still lessons on ISO, etc. etc. but the main part of these lessons and the module is to recognize who you are.
What kind of photographer are you?
Who is your favorite photographer?
He/she will direct you in the right way to start experimenting your own style.

My photographer is Alasdair Mclellan. Beautiful work, amazing nature backgrounds and natural-looking models. Nature at its' best, basically.

I've also found out I'm a 'nature-drawn' person/photographer.
Sometimes you don't know what makes you love the photo you do. It's things you don't exactly know about, these are mainly your instincts.

Anyway, coming back to the point of this post; I've tried out touching- up my films to achieve the look I'm really directing my photography in.

Here are some photos before and after.
I've mainly used the curves, grey and blue photo filters and shadows and highlights.

Vocalist Lucy Rhiannon- portraiture.

Hey, it's been a while since my last post (at least it feels like it anyway), however I have something you might like!
I've been shooting some portraits on a basic studio backdrop with a soft box and an attachable camera flash with an addition of fabric filters.
Yes, fabric. If you've seen my posts before then you'll know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, shooting on a backdrop with fake light isn't my thing and I think I've already stated that quite clearly a few times before. I do prefer shooting with a film camera on a location, natural lighting. I don't know how I've ended up doing another studio shoot!
This one, however, looks a bit different because of the DIY filters.

Here are my favorite photos from the shoot.

PS: Enjoy this amazing autumn-y weather x

The last one is personally my fave.

BAK IN DA DAIZ

What I've actually decided to do in this post was something I've never seen on blogs before. You probably hear it from your friends sometimes if not most of the time but it's something that happens to you when you investigate through YouTube.
Yes, it's songs from 'back in the day' which you used to listen to. Maybe not the ones YOU did but the ones I have.

(quick thought)- actually, it'll be quite good just to interview people about their 'back in the days' songs and make a post on that...

Okay, anyway; I'm actually doing this while I'm writing the post so I'll include the songs I basically remember or have seen on youtube, etc. You know what I mean.

I have chosen the age from 11 to 16 years old.
